Community Borrowers

To Register as a Community Borrower

  • You must have a current library card in good standing from another California public library
  • You must have a government issued photo ID

Community Borrower Privileges

  • 21 day checkout with no renewals
  • Maximum of 10 books checked out
  • You will be charged $1 per day for every day that a book is overdue
  • Community Borrower library cards expire 1 year from the date issued
  • Community Borrower privileges are limited to CSUEB Library books only
    • You may not check out course reserve materials
    • You may not request materials from other CSU campuses through CSU+

Fill out the form below to register for Community Borrower privileges.

To complete your registration, please go to the Circulation Desk on the Library Lower Mall. You will need to show a government issued photo ID, library card, and proof that the library card is in good standing. You will have to sign a copy of your registration information when you come in to complete your registration.
