The Concord Center Library includes an attractive two-story study lounge. The lounge has three group study rooms, four desktop computers, and over 30 study desks and tables. It is open Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm during the Fall and Spring semesters.
If you need help with your research or have any other questions about the library, the Library's Ask Us! Chat service is available online 24/7. You also may book a research consultation to meet with a librarian on Zoom or contact one of our subject specialist librarians.
Library books can no longer be checked out at the Concord Center, but East Bay students, faculty, and staff may request most books from OneSearch (the library catalog) and choose to pick them up at the CORE Building on the Hayward Campus or have them mailed to their homes. Not all books are requestable (e.g. textbooks available at the Check Out Desk). For more information on requesting books, please see our FAQ.
Additionally, East Bay students, faculty, and staff can request chapter scans of books available from the Concord or Hayward libraries. Information on how to request a chapter scan can be found in this FAQ.
All library books can be returned either in the Concord Center Library's book drop, or at the Hayward Campus. You also may return your books to another CSU campus closer to you. More information on how to return library books is available in our FAQ.
Access to the CSUEB Library’s online resources is available 24/7 to campus users (i.e., with your NetID and password). For a complete list of our 190+ online databases, see our A-Z Databases List. To search for ebooks and articles, use OneSearch on the library's homepage. You can filter to "full-text online" on the left side bar after you conduct a search. To search for a specific Journal name (such as Journal of School Nursing), use the Journal Search.
