The Concord Center Library consists primarily of circulating books, including course reserve items (textbooks). Access to most circulating materials are housed at the Hayward campus and can be obtained through requesting an item via the library catalog and our paging system (courier service).
Online access to databases is available 24/7 to authorized users (i.e., with your netID and password). If you need help finding information, our reference services are available online 24 hours/day and 7 days/week.
When you find a book you need in the Library Catalog, SIGN IN with your campus netID and password and then you can click on the REQUEST button to have it sent from Hayward or CSU+, to the Concord Center Library. You have the choice to pick up library materials at the Hayward campus library or the Concord Center library, as well as via mail. Books requested via CSU+ as well as any located in the Concord Center Library will be made available in the same way.
For more information on requesting books, please see our FAQ.
For a chapter scan, please submit an ILL request or email ils@csueastbay.edu with book title, author, year of publication, edition, chapter/pages.
We hope to provide some textbooks in our Reserves Collection for check-out. These will be for the Concord Center classes.
DETAILS:
All library books can be returned either in the Concord Center Library's book drop, or at the Hayward campus library's book drops (located in front of the entrance and those located at the basement level). You may return your books to another CSU campus closer to you.
