Family Friendly Study Room Policy

The Family-Friendly Study Room (room 168) is a designated space for parents/guardians to use for studying when accompanied by their children. The Family Friendly Study Room is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and individuals who are accompanied by children have priority use of the space.

This room offers:

  • An enclosed space for parents/guardians to study with their children present
  • A child-sized table, chairs, and cots
  • An activity table
  • Toys for various ages from infant through early elementary

Please return the furniture, books, and toys to their original positions before leaving the room.

Childcare is not provided. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children’s safety and behavior. For more information, please see the Library's Standards of Behavior policy.
