Mug Press

Daily Consumable Limit

  • One mug
  • Infusible Ink sheet that will produce one mug transfer
  • You may also use the Infusible Ink Pens instead of cutting a design in the Infusible Ink sheet. If using the Infusible Ink Pens, draw your design on a piece of printer paper, then tape your design to your mug.

Note: You will need to have a completed, cut design on Infusible Ink before using the Mug Press.

  1. Attach your cut, Infusible Ink design to the mug.
    1. If you have any questions about the best way to attach your design to the mug, please ask any Makerspace Staff Member.
  2. Tape is provided, if needed, to attach your design. If you have drawn your design with Infusible Ink Pens, you will need to place a protective sheet over your design (tape it down) in order to prevent ink transfer to the Mug Press.
  3. Turn on the Mug Press.
  4. Insert your mug and close the press.
  5. Wait for the press to let you know when your design transfer has been completed.
  6. Open the press–do not touch the inside of the press or the sides of the mug. Pick up the mug only by the handle.
  7. Place the mug on the trivet and wait for it to cool.
  8. Once your mug is cool, you can remove the paper.
  9. Enjoy your awesome, custom mug design!
