Streaming Video @ Your Library: Understanding the Video Interface

Video Interface Tools

Email: Allows you to email a link to the video

+Playlist: Allows you to save the video or part of the video to your playlist, if you are logged into your account

Favorite: Allows you to add the video to your list of favorites, if you are logged into your account

Embed: Gives you the embed code that you can use to embed the video into Blackboard

Citation: Gives you the MLA, APA, or Chicago style citation for the video

Custom Segment: Allows you to create segments or clips of the video to save and share, if you are logged into your account

Segments, Transcript, Related

To the Right of the Video Player, you will find other tools. 

Segments: Chapters of the video. You will also find your Custom Segments under this tab if you create any for the video. 

Transcript: Provides a full transcript of the video. The transcript is highlighted as the video plays. You can also click on any word in the transcript to go to that section of video

Related: Provides other video titles that are of similar theme/topic to the video you have selected

Video Interface

Videos from Films on Demand will play in your browser window. The video interface, as seen below, gives you many tools that may be useful to you.
