There are two ways to find information about the collections available in the University Archives. You may use the libraries’ online catalog to search for completed finding aids, use the search box to find materials via the Online Archive of California, or use the original indices linked below.
The Library's Online Catalog
You can search the library’s catalog to find records for our archival collections. However, not all records are available in the catalog yet. New entries are added as our staff completes detailed guides for the collections.

You can find the University Archives' guides and digital images through the Online Archive of California (OAC). To explore our collections, simply use the search box below.
To view materials from the University Archives, please schedule an appointment at least 48 hours in advance by emailing archives@csueastbay.edu or any of our archivists.

National Union Catalog of Manuscript Collections (NUCMC)
Sponsored by the Library of Congress, the NUCMC helps locate manuscript collections in various repositories and offers tips on searching for specific manuscripts.
Online Archive of California (OAC)
The OAC provides access to archival finding aids from over 150 repositories across California, including digital materials. The Cal State East Bay University Archives is part of this resource.
