What We Collect


The University Archives focuses on collecting materials that reflect the history and activities of Cal State East Bay, as well as selected regional histories. Our collection areas include:

 

Primary Focus Areas

  • CSU East Bay History (Comprehensive)
  • CSU East Bay Institutional Records (Comprehensive)
  • CSU East Bay Student Organizational Records (Comprehensive)
  • Alameda and Contra Costa County History (Limited)
     

Geographical Restrictions

  • Materials related to Alameda and Contra Costa counties, with a specific emphasis on California State University, East Bay

Our archives also feature special collections, including:

  • Alameda County Voter Registration Records (1875-1925)
  • Jenson Family Records
  • Ellen O. Tauscher Records (Note: Parts of this collection are restricted due to donor agreements)
