Describes collections of the University Archives and Special Collections and how to use them.

About the Archives

The University Archives was established in 1971 with the opening of the University Library building on the Hayward Hills Campus. We collect material dealing with the institutional history and memory of California State University, East Bay (formerly known as Alameda State College and California State University, Hayward).

Discover more about the history, people, and changes of our campus throughout the decades. Our collections and archives are resources open to students, staff and faculty, and to the community.
