  • Major: Psychology
  • Hobbies: I like to listen to music and dance. I like going out to eat and go sightseeing. I also like to take pictures and videos of new places I visit.
  • Career interests: I hope to pursue a career in counseling. I want to become a mental health counselor in schools with young adults (middle schools, high schools). I want to be able to give students the help and support that they need because it's hard to find someone to confide in at that age.
  • Professional goals: My goal for this job is to learn how to communicate better with people. I look forward to growing my communication skills while helping people at the front desk.

  • Major: Health Science with concentration in Public Health
  • Hobbies/passion: I am a fun and friendly person that loves to dance cumbias and drinks black ice cold brews. So if you asked me let’s go get coffee I am always the right person to ask. I am interested in joining the LGBTQ+ community and as well joining other types of volunteer groups. 
  • Career interests: After I am done with my bachelors I’m trying to get into a master's graduate program of Health Science Administration. Once I am all done with both degrees hopefully I am able to work at a clinic as an administrator trying to fix the clinic making it a better environment. After working for a while one of my goals is to be able to open multiple clinics in my community hiring staff with multiple languages to be able to help non-speaking English patients.

  • Major: Kinesiology 
  • Hobbies: I enjoy listening to music and creating different types of playlist. I have been karate since I was 9, I am one test away from my black belt and I am also a 4x international and 2x national champion. 
  • Career interests: With my degree, I hope to open an All Womxn’s Gym but also make it a resource center for womxn as well, where womxn can find different resources and feel comfortable in. I want to create a safe space for all womxn. I also want the gym to double as a karate school. I hope to create an all womxn/girls team to break the stereotypes about womxn/girls in contact sports.
  • Professional goals: From this job, I hope to gain more experience (on top of the one I already have) when it comes to collaborating with other people and starting/finishing a project together. Also hope to gain more experience with communicating with people.

  • Hobbies/passion: A couple fun facts about me is that I am really passionate about animals/animal welfare and musicI realize that I was a part of the LGBTQ+ community around the time where the pandemic had just started, so I would eventually like to join a community of individuals that are also a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Career interestsI have an interest in working with children and adolescents, specifically to help and guide them if they do not have anyone else to do that for them. I am also passionate about art, so another potential goal for the future is to get involved in art therapy.

  • Major: Communication Media Studies
  • Hobbies/passion: I like music, technology, movies, books and sports. I like to travel. I like take photos and recording from friends, also i like writing a lot in Spanish thats my primary language and read and write poetry. Also I read interesting books like migration, civil rights, history of latinos, enjoy see movies too, passionately see how many things change in this nation, in this COVID times, love listening to different kind of music. I have a group of young people latinos in my church help and listen to the beautiful things in life, be productive, make leadership changes the society we live in.
  • Career interests: I hope the career work in the future in education in communications like work in Community College but planning some years in experience and back to school to get my master degree.

  • Hobbies/passion: I love looking through used bookstores, visiting new restaurants with my friends, and crocheting during my free time. My favorite genres of books are science fiction and fantasy. Being active in the LGBTQ+ community is also very important to me.
  • Career interests: I plan on pursuing a master’s in Library and Information Science after I graduate and becoming a librarian someday. I hope to find a career path that merges both my interests in history and library work, and also teach digital literacy skills.
