Welcome to the CSUEB University Libraries'  Marketing & Entrepreneurship  Subject Guide. This guide is designed to show some good starting points for finding information (including journals articles, and books, related to various marketing and entrepreneurship  topics, including marketing plans, industry and company share information, demographics and marketing, small business information, and venture capital.

Getting Started

If you're looking for scholarly, trade or news articles relating to marketing or entrepreneurship click on the Databases tab at the top of this page to go to a variety of subscription business databases made available to you by the CSUEB University Libraries.

If you want to see what books [both print or electronic], videos, etc. are available to you from the CSUEB University Libraries, the Find Books page provides a search box for searching the Libraries' online catalog, as well as some suggested search terms you might want to use.

Finally, if you want to see what's available to you out on the open web, the Websites page lists some of the better websites for business information.

Two of our top business databases for browsing articles on various business topics and two general sources that may be searched for business topics are below:

  • Business Source Premier
  • ABI/INFORM Complete
  • Academic Search Premier

A good starting point for any research, Academic Search Premier provides access to peer-reviewed articles across multiple subjects, including full-text access for many articles.

  • Google Scholar

A version of Google that searches through academic resources. If you are on campus, you may be able to obtain full-text articles through a Google Scholar search.
