Navigating the United Nations websites

"The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945. Currently made up of 193 Member States, the UN and its work are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter." [from https://www.un.org/en/about-us]. This guide is intended to introduce you to the various navigation tools available on the UN site to navigate the various sites, organizations, resources, and materials created, linked, and issued on the UN website.

There is a lot of information to sift through on the UN site. Are you looking for a document created by a specific entity within the UN? Are you exploring a specific issue or topic? Are you looking for a specific type of document or know the date of a specific announcement you want more information on? Scroll down to the footer, use the search bar, or explore the site index to assist you in your searches.
