Finish Strong: Last Week of Peer Tutoring at SCAA for Fall Semester

The SCAA Learning Community is eager to help students finish the Fall 2025 semester strong! Peer-to-peer tutoring and coaching services will run through Friday, December 5th and then will pause until the start of the Spring 2026 semester. A new section of INFO 230 has been added for Spring 2026. This course is an elective in the Critical Information Literacy Minor and the Sustainability Minor. Students will build coherent and cohesive arguments, using inductive and deductive reasoning, honing their argumentation skills through dialogue, outlining, and peer review of drafts. The Library is very proud of the approximately 20 student assistants who graduated in Spring 2025. Pictured here with the Head of the Library Learning Commons, Paulette Washington, is student Jacob Grunwald, who graduated in Fine Arts and is currently working at Intel.Jacob and our other student assistants in the Learning Commons help students borrow laptops, headphones, cameras, cords and other IT items as well as trouble shooter computer, printer and scanner issues. Fellow students turn to their Learning Commons counterparts for everything from equipment to software and system issues. Congratulations to Jacob and Paulette and thank you to all of our Learning Commons students for their excellent work!...
