Busy Bags for Children Now Available in the Library!

If you are studying in the Library with kids, check out our new busy bags! We have busy bags for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary school kids filled with games and (quiet) toys to keep them busy and happy while you study in the Library!

You can find the busy bags in cubbies by the Reference Bookshelves on the first floor (aka Lower Mall) of the library. Each bag has a label with the bag’s contents and age range to make it easy for you to select a bag. Simply sign out a busy bag on the form on top of the cubbies and return the busy bag when you are finished.

Please fill out one of our feedback forms when you are done so we can continue to improve our busy bags.

We hope these make your time more enjoyable and productive when studying with kids in our Library!

Prisoner’s Dilemmas: Life and Choices behind the Berlin Wall

Christian Roessler, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Department of Economics

When: Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 12:15pm – 1:15pm
Where: Library Biella Room
Refreshments will be served

Thirty years ago, the Berlin Wall, deadly symbol of the Cold War, collapsed in a series of events no one had predicted. Economics Associate Professor and game theorist Christian Roessler, who grew up in the immediate vicinity of the Wall, on a street divided into East and West, Communism and Capitalism, speaks about life in an all-knowing totalitarian state, the interdependent personal choices that allowed the Wall to stand and then suddenly caused it to fall, bringing a seemingly invincible system down with it.

This event is open to the public.
