by Library News on 2020-07-27T11:19:48-07:00 | 0 Comments

Dear Pioneers,

I hope that you are doing well and staying safe this summer. The CSUEB library is monitoring the coronavirus guidelines from the Alameda County Public Health Department and will provide the services that we can while maintaining a safe environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Currently, we are planning for a partial reopening of the library in the Fall Semester. Students and faculty will be able to request books from the online library catalog for pick up at the library or for home delivery. Laptop computers will be available for checkout while supplies last. The Learning Commons will be open to students only for quiet study and desktop computer use with limited seating from 10-7 Mon-Thurs and 10-4 on Fri. Students will reserve a specific study seat online, wear masks, and maintain social distancing while they are studying in the library.

All online services currently provided by the library will continue to be available throughout the Fall, including:

Appointments can be made with librarians for research consultation. Please feel free to contact me or a librarian on library chat if you have additional questions.

Sincerely,
John Wenzler
