IMAP setup for Horizon email
Synchronize your NetID password:
Go to http://www.csueastbay.edu/netid, click on Students and click on Change your NetID password.
Put in all the information and check the box titled “Students: Check this box to synchronize your NetID password with Horizon powered by Google.” Click on reset my password.
Enable IMAP in Horizon:
- Log in to the horizon account.
- Click Settings at the top of the page.
- Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
- Select Enable IMAP.
- Click Save Changes.

This is common for all clients:
Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of outgoing messages.
Email Address: Enter your full horizon email id – firstname.lastname@example.org
Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
User Name: Enter your full horizon email id – email@example.com
Password: Enter your NetID password
