San Francisco Bay Area Poetry
Poetry works by individuals who either live in the Bay Area, or have been published by Bay Area presses are represented. Includes Allen Ginsberg, Gary Snyder, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, William Everson, Robert Duncan, Jack Kerouac, and Michael McClure, but poets of much less fame, many of whom read regularly at the bookstores and coffee houses of the Bay Area, are also in this collection.
Recently discovered materials include original 1959 galley proofs for Jack Kerouac’s Doctor Sax: Faust Part Three, signed by the author.
