Link+
LINK+ enables faculty, students, and staff to initiate their own requests to borrow books from other participating libraries, if the California State University , East Bay University Library does not own the book. Response time is generally 3-5 days barring weekends, holidays and any unforeseen circumstances.
If a patron searches the library catalog and receives a screen that says “No matches found,” the patron may click on Repeat search in LINK+ to initiate the process.
Visiting Patrons
Patrons may also borrow books from the CSU East Bay library through the LINK+ Visiting Patron program, if the patron’s home library is a participant. The patron must present a valid card from their home library and a valid photo ID at the circulation desk. The Loan period is for 3 weeks with one possible renewal for an additional 3 weeks. Materials may only be renewed once, per Link+ policies. While materials may be returned at any library, Visiting Patrons must renew materials at their HOME libraries only.
