Description: Multi-volume encyclopedia on animal life. Includes concise articles on animal life history, ranges and status. Great resource for getting background information on a certain family or genus of animals.

Description: Full of terms, definitions, taxonomies and more about human biology, human evolution, primatology and related areas. Good for quick definitions and basic information.

A great, multidisciplinary database; best for historical information about biology topics as well as older issues of many biology and science journals.

Database of science citations, also multidisciplinary. You can also use EndNote Web, a bibliographic management tool, for free through this database. Just sign up for an account.
