The Chinese-American Experience in California: Six Coordinated Exhibits in the Library This Fall – See BELOW for Individual Exhibits
The Chinese-American Experience in California: A Cultural Festival
During the Fall Quarter 2008, CSUEB will host the traveling exhibit, Remembering 1882: Fighting for Civil Rights in the Shadow of the Chinese Exclusion Act.
To call attention to the legacy of this discriminatory legislation, the University has developed a unique program of related exhibits, events, and performances. The Library is hosting the 1882 Exhibit, as well as five additional displays between October 12, 2008 and February 1, 2009.
Each of these six exhibits is outlined on the Library Exhibits Page, and further information on other events can also be found on the Chinese-American Experience in California: A Cultural Festival Web Site.
