Immigration and Bay Area Asians
A Graphic Look at Asian Demographics in the Bay Area
Dr. David Woo of the CSUEB Department of Geography and Environmental Studies has created a fascinating graphic and statistical study of immigration patterns of contemporary Asian groups in the Bay Area.
Originally presented in numerous campus venues as a well-received PowerPoint presentation, key graphics from this production have been rendered into 3 large vertical panels that invite perusal, study and comparison. Charts in the display cover everything from Chinese immigration patterns to the United States between 1850 and 2000, to the dispersal of Asian groups throughout the Bay Area in the 2000 Census.
A CSUEB exhibit, produced by Dr. David Woo in conjunction with the University Libraries
