Exhibit Backstory

The Asian-Pacific American exhibit is commemorated this year with a fresh poster that intends to balance the emphases between "Asian" and "Pacific Islander" represented in this month's formal title - the only visual nod given traditional Asian motifs, being the Japanese cherry blossom, which is balanced against Pacific print motifs, represented at the bottom of the poster.
